From MOPIC ’s experience with its Impact Assessment Unit, valuable lessons have emerged in terms of institutionalizing the impact assessment process within the organization. MOPIC is also learning that, beyond internal capacities, there should be a serious commitment to institutionalize impact and partner monitoring. This commitment must be grounded in the belief that learning from partners is critical in proving effective improved organizational performance and ensuring institutional growth and sustainability.
